Fly Me to the Moon...

After our wedding we went for a brief honeymoon. We decided that Put-in-Bay, OH would be a relaxing & inexpensive get away...we were right. We enjoyed cruising the little island in a golf cart, we tasted the seafood entrees of the restaurants, wine tasted at the local winery, and as the picture to the right illustrates we even got to see the largest open observatory in America (at 300 feet). I think we can agree though that one of our favorite places was the butterfly house. It was just so peaceful & beautiful.

Before we knew it, it was time to go back home, but we'll always have the memories. :)

Our Beginning

On June 20, 2009 EJ & I tied the knot and became our own family. So I thought a blog would be a great way to keep our family and friends up-to-date on our latest adventures. In order to get an entire picture of who we are I'll start from our beginning.

In college we were close friends, then started dating in 2005. We always enjoyed going to church together and going on adventures to places around our college town we had not been before. After we graduated EJ went to graduate school at WVU and I found a job at The Center for Excellence in Disabilities. We had been dating for three years when EJ proposed to me on a beautiful March night overlooking the city lights. Now we're a happy family living the life as newlyweds in our cute townhome. :)
